Edward C.D. Stanford

Rev. E.C.D. ("Ted") Stanford was an English clerical figure, born 1903 in Peckham, died 1994 in Rustington, Sussex. He served as a minister from 1929, moving into administrative roles from 1946. He worked with the British Council of Churches 1951-62, the British and Foreign Bible Society 1962-63, and became Educational Secretary of the Congregational Union of England and Wales, holding the post until his retirement in 1967. After his retirement, he worked on the unification of the Presbyterian and Congregational Churches into the United Reform Church.
