Pop R&B singer and actress. Born February 11, 1981 in Atlanta, GA. Began her career as one third of the R&B group Destiny's Child. Her first solo LP was released in 2002 entitled "Simply Deep". Rowland enjoyed massive worldwide success alongside rapper Nelly on the track "Dilemma" which topped the charts in numerous regions. Due to her success as a solo artist, Columbia granted her the chance to produce another solo album which was released in 2007. She gathered further success by leaving the States and doing a venture with electro-pop producer David Guetta.
