Resopal

Resopal (the word is composed from Resina, the Greek-Latin word for resin, and opal) is the name for a laminate board in the building industry, which is used in interior construction. A patent was submitted in 1930 by Hermann Römmler AG in Spremberg, the German company moved in 1946 to Groß-Umstadt.
