Canadian Country Music Association

The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) is a membership-based, not-for-profit organization committed to the promotion and recognition of Canadian country music. Originally established in September 1975 as the Canadian Academy for Country Music Advancement, though soon changed its name to Academy of Country Music Entertainment in March 1976. It ultimately changed names to CCMA in 1987.
