Bovina Records

Bovina Records was created in 2002 to provide a validating record label logo for Pispoure's first release, "The Oight Album". Knowing we knew nothing about the record business we decided to create a record business. We developed the Holstein-head-with-a-nick-in-her-ear logo and dug deep for a title of a new record label located in my attic in Bovina Center, NY. Luckily, and after much thought, we were able to conjure the name, "Bovina Records". Since releasing the Oight Album, we have signed Janet Stewart, Steerhead, Ira & Laurie McIntosh, Disciples of Agriculture, and Future Farmers of America , to lucrative, long-term contracts, picked a label name and adopted our Holstein-head-with-a-nick-in-her-ear logo. This label is clearly on the move; see you at the Grammy's.
