Friends Of Cecil Sharp House
Настоящее имя: Friends Of Cecil Sharp House
Cecil Sharp House opened in 1930 by the English Folk Dance And Song Society. In November 1986 EFDSS decided to sell Cecil Sharp House to pay the Society's debts. The Friends of Cecil Sharp House were formed by Brenda Godrich to help keep the House open. Colin Hume contributed some tracks for a 12" to sell to raise funds for FCSH.
After a long fight FCSH managed to get the building reopened and reverse the decision to sell. In 1995 Brenda Godrich received the EFDSS Gold Badge (the Society's highest award).
