1980s label from Kansas City, Missouri founded by R. Gillum. In 1986 he made an agreement with Alpha Phi Alpha, one of Kansas City's largest black fraternity's, to help promote the labels music by requesting radio stations to give Intrepid Artists radio play. In return they would receive a percentage of record sales to raise money for charitable causes.
