Bedroom Tapes

An artist-owned cassette music label that recycled old, discarded commercially-released cassettes and taped over the existing music with their own releases. This allowed them to sell their music at a low price or hand them out for free. They also created handcrafted cassette packages made from recycled materials, made individually by local artists, hoping to combine various art forms with music to create sustainable products that people could discuss and display. All music was also released online as mp3 downloads, free of charge.
