Aguila Record Manufacturing Co.
Настоящее имя: Aguila Record Manufacturing Co.
1940s record manufacturer in Chicago, Illinois.
Launched by Arthur Velen, a Chicago accountant and owner of Advanced Distributing Company, which specialized in records for the Latino market. The company was announced in Billboard in September, 1947. The few known releases employ a mixture of imported masters and recordings made at Universal Recording Studio by Latino performers. The company was last-mentioned by Billboard in 1949. The Aguila name was later used for several unrelated labels, and there is no connection to the Los Angeles-based Aguila Recording Company, which operated during the same period.
