Franz Suppan

Music publisher located in Düsseldorf, Germany, active since ca. 1913. Published especially popular music celebrating Rhineland culture, including "Warum ist es am Rhein so schön" (with lyrics written by founder Franz Suppan), "Mädel ich bin dir so gut," and Hermann Ludwig Blankenburg's march "Mein Regiment." Later continued under the name "Westfalia Musikverlag Franz Suppan" in Solingen and Monheim. In 2006, it became part of Edition Metropol Musikverlage.
