North End Recordings

Electro label from Detroit founded 1997. Label home for Renegades of Rhythm, G-Smoove, and G-Nettix: after doing projects with some of the Detroit techno music originaters, North End Recordings was launched out of the North End section of Detroit, MI to specialize in original grooves that combine several genres to evolve into an identity of its own, described as the "North End Sound". Although being dormant for a few years, the label has regenerated itself with upcoming releases that will prove to be worth the wait; restarting with the debut of the G-Smoove 12" single "I Ain't Gotta Go To Work Tomorrow" NER-002 in Spring 2006.
