Upland Music

Independent label based in Cape Town, launched in 1998 by Niklas Zimmer. Its first proper release was Zimmer's own "Conference" project in 2001, with 2005's "Here, Now" the label's fourth and final documented output before it changed name to Upland07. Distribution was handled in conjunction with "open record" and the "CD Wherehouse" chain.
