The Sweet Chariot

Short-lived gospel music nightclub located at 225 West 46th Street in New York City's Times Square, opened April 1963. Owned and operated by Joe Scandore. Columbia Records' director of pop A&R David Kapralik negotiated for exclusive rights to the club's live recordings.
