Organized by "Syndicat des Industries Electroniques de Reproduction et d'Enregistrement" (SIERE) until 1971, in partnership with Office de Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française (ORTF), then from 1972 by "Société pour la Diffusion des Sciences et des Arts" (SDSA). Initially dedicated to sound production/reproduction, then extended to image/video field in the early eighties. Renamed "Festival International Son & Image Vidéo" before disappearing after 1987.
Yearly compilations (sometimes featuring test tones) were available during each event. Some issues ('68 to '73) noticeably produced & edited by André Charlin.
