Factory Canada

While Factory never opened an official independent office in Canada, they had a unique partnership with the Canadian wing of PolyGram that saw Factory-style catalog numbers assigned to the Canadian editions of many Factory releases from 1981 to 1987. This label has been set up for those releases to keep them distinct from both Factory UK and PolyGram. Only Canadian releases having catalogue numbers starting with FAC should be entered under this label. All other Canadian editions of Factory releases - including those on PolyGram that have a non-Factory catalog number (usually barcode style) - should be entered under the applicable licensing label.
