Svema

A subsidiary and brand of the Shostka Chemical Plant, Svema (Свема) was a Ukrainian Manufacture of Magnetic Tape, Photographic film and Paper founded in 1931. They were one of the most impotent manufactures in the entertainment industry during the USSR era. Svema started to loose market share after the dissolution of the USSR, As many former Soviet countries began importing cheaper alternatives to the products they needed. Svema cease operations in 2000.
