"Better Days", which was located at 49th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues in Manhattan, was actually one of the lesser known but nevertheless still massively influential of the New York underground clubs. It was open from 1972 until 1988.
[a21566] was the venue's first resident DJ where he also built his stellar reputation for over seven years. Bruce Forest replaced Tee Scott in the following years.
Despite being in a rough club in a rough area, "Better Days" hosted also a roster of master guest-DJs including Frankie Knuckles, François Kevorkian or Kenny Carpenter.
