Raspail

Brand of liquor for hygienic purposes created by the chemist and politician François-Vincent Raspail who gave it its name in 1847. The brand disappeared in the 1960s, the Mazy distillery relaunched the production in 2017 of a liqueur under the Raspail brand, using the “Dessert liqueur” formula and a label very close to old bottles. The alcoholic strength has dropped to 34 °.
