Technology
The music department includes two recording studios. 'Studio 1' features a basic control room with a preamp interface and an iMac computer, which borders onto a live room with basic microphone and sound technology. The studio is rumoured to be 'cursed' as hardware seems to fail often when used in there. 'Studio 2' is more technically advanced, featuring more instruments and hardware, including an Ivory compressor, a Roland XP30 (famously used by The Prodigy), and various high-tech microphones, including a modified Neuman condenser. The department also features many iMac computers, running music production software such as Logic Pro X and Sibelius.
