Al and Gary, oldest and youngest sons of the Thompson family in Bridgeport, CT, always made time to collaborate on any musical ideas they had while growing up. Their mother was their inspiration and mentor. In November 1990, they came together with jazz, R&B and Blues ideas and took it to another level as partners. Today, their collaborations have taken on the form of Al-Gar Records.
