Wartburg

The Wartburg is a German castle in Thuringia, located above the city of Eisenach at the northwestern end of the Thuringian Forest. It was founded by Ludwig the Springer around 1067 and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. see also UNESCO WELTERBE WARTBURG and Wartburg, Rittersaal
