Hot Sounds Studio, New York

Hot Sound Recording Studios was a full-service recording studio that specialized in live music recording, mixing, and mastering. For 15 years it was located in the heart of Manhattan's Chelsea district before moving to a loft in Brooklyn. The studio's equipment included a Custom Neve 5106 24x8x20 console in Studio One, a Mega ProTools rig with ProControl & Apogees, new lounge and kitchen, 2 more iso booths, and Genelec monitoring in both rooms. Hot Sound's studio manager was Scott Mascena, and Jeff Philips (2) was the chief engineer. Other engineers at the studio included Rob D'Aquino, James Deering and Dan Nuxoll.
