Georgian Theatre, Stockton-on-Tees

The Georgian Theatre is a Grade II listed theatre in Stockton-on-Tees, England and is one of the oldest Georgian provincial theatres in the country. A former barn converted to a theater in 1766, it fell into disuse in the 19th century and became a candy factory until the late 1950s. In 1980 it was refurbished and reopened as a community space for hire. In 1993 it was handed over to the Stockton Music & Arts Collective (part of the Tees Music Alliance since 2006).
