The Grote Kerk ("Grand Church") of Sliedrecht is located at Kerkbuurt 131, 3361 BE Sliedrecht, The Netherlands and is owned by the Dutch Reformed Church. The church was rebuilt in 1763 after being destroyed by a fire. It is the oldest monument of Sliedrecht. The church tower, however, is owned by the municipality of Sliedrecht since 1855. The foundation of the tower dates back to the year 1000. The upper section was rebuilt in 1825. The cloister bell with a diameter of 91.3 cm. was casted in 1604 by Heynricus Meurs of Utrecht. The clock's inner mechanism dates from 1751; the current mechanism is electronic.
