Museu Do Açude

Brazilian museum, located in Rio de Janeiro - R.J., displays the collections of tiles and porcelain from Porto, oriental art and applied arts. The Alto da Boa Vista property was acquired in 1913 and renovated in the 1920s. It is located in the middle of the Tijuca Forest, in an area of 151,132m², which comprises four buildings. The Museu do Açude was created in 1964, and from the 1990s it adopts the perspective of integral heritage, combining cultural and natural heritage.
