Jan Lar

The Jan-Lar label was a small, independent, Los Angeles based record label in the late 50s and early 60s that was owned by Charlie Tebbetts, Milton Weiss and Ted Quillan. It released only a handful of singles before it disappeared. Artists on Jan-Lar included The Ebbtides (JL-101), The Cadets (JL-102), Mike Deasy (JL-108) and Sonny Knight (JL-921). It was also sometimes spelled Jan Lar and was associated with the Firefly (3) label.
