Hostile Envirionment Records

Northampton label born from local collective of promoters/musicians/radio presenters/artists called "Hostile Environment" which organised gigs and events primarily at various venues in Northampton in the 1980s. It also released many Cassettes from local bands before venturing into vinyl. Members of this collective later went on to found Kooky Records, Bastim Records, Astounding Promotions and B2M club night and various local fanzines.
