The Floral Hall, Southport
Настоящее имя: The Floral Hall, Southport
Multi-purpose venue on the sea front of Southport, Lancashire, England. Built in 1930, before becoming part of the Southport Theatre & Convention Centre in 1973, when a theatre was built adjoining the hall (to its northern side) and was officially re-opened by Marlene Dietrich. It, along with the theatre, was closed on 23rd March 2020 due to the coronavirus restrictions, and has subsequently been liquidated. Over the history of the venue it hosted a huge array of acts, including: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Who, AC/DC, et al. and was the location of Yes' first-ever gig. The gardens were also, for many years, the location for the Radio 1 Roadshow whenever they were in Southport.
