The Foundation for Contemporary Mental Health
Настоящее имя: The Foundation for Contemporary Mental Health
The Foundation for Contemporary Mental Health (FCMH) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in the late 60’s in Washington, D.C. as an educational and clinical service organization. Innovative educational programs on mental health topics were provided for professionals as well as for the general community. In 1971, PIDARC was developed at the request of the D.C. government’s then Narcotics Treatment Administration.
In the early 90’s, as the opioid problem in the District of Columbia grew, the Foundation shifted its focus away from professional and community education and committed its resources to help meet the increasing need for outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) services in the Washington Metropolitan Area. FCMH has grown to become the largest, private, non-profit outpatient MAT provider in the District of Columbia.
All patients, upon admission, sign a “good neighbor policy” which defines the behaviors required to maintain the confidentiality of the clinic and acceptance of the program by our neighbors.
