Ash Williams Recording Studio
Настоящее имя: Ash Williams Recording Studio
Lincoln, Nebraska. Started in 1946 and owned by Ash Williams (5) (aka Lee Ash Williams). Bobby Lowell & The Rock-A-Boogie Boys recorded "Um Baby, Baby" there in 1956 and it became a national hit. It would have been released on Ash Williams' own label but his biggest studio client at the time was the "Back to the Bible Broadcast" Christian ministry organization and they told him that if a rock n roll song came out with Williams' name on it he would lose their business. So, Bobby Lowell chose "Roto Records" (because he'd just seen a Roto Rooter sign in a malt shop down the street) and it became Nebraska's first rock n roll label.
