Record label that issued political and conspiratorial albums. Owned and managed by Anthony J. Hilder. It appears to have started up after or around the time his label Impact (see Impact (12)) ceased its output of surf and R&B music. The first release for American United was in 1964, an album Barry Goldwater - (American United AU-1) which was about Goldwater. It featured people like Archie Moore (see Archie Moore (2)), [a2659109], Ronald Reagan and Robert Stack. In 1967, the label released a 3 LP set, 2925493 - (American United AU-7 to AU-9) xwhich was narrated by Myron Coureval Fagan. In 1969, the label released 5287892 - (American United AU-14) which was narrated by John Carradine.
Some cassette tapes were also released by the label during the 1990s. One was 10353416 which featured Dr. Robert Strecker being interviewed by Hilder. The other one that was released the same year was 10353597 which featured Hilder's interview of African American community leader, LaSalle LaSalle.
