F. A. Owen Publishing Company
Настоящее имя: F. A. Owen Publishing Company
Founded by Frederick Augustus Owen (March 22, 1867 - July 18, 1935), in western New York. Owen initially ran Rogersville Seminary and a correspondence school, the Empire States Teachers Class (later renamed the American Correspondence Normal). In 1891, he started publishing "Normal Instructor" magazine to provide additional education to the teaching profession. It facilitated the exchange of ideas and methods of teaching elementary school children. In the early 1900s, his Instructor Publishing Company was renamed to the F. A. Owen Publishing Company. It continued to focus on educational materials and expanded to include postcards, posters, and music related releases.
