Morrison Sound Studio

1960s recording studio in Chicago, Illinois, designed by Vaughn Morrison and built around 1965. Located one door west of Apex Pressing Plant, which was at 2009 W. 69th Street. Sunny Sawyer bought Morrison out in 1967 and then ran both the studio and the pressing plant. "Most people knew it as Sunny Sawyer’s studio and others simply called it Apex, but its proper name, painted on its glass-brick facade, was Morrison Sound Studio."
