KG was the dominant company of ARO Heimtextilien GmbH, a German specialist retail chain for carpets, floor coverings and wallpapers in Germany owned by the entrepreneur and sports official Michael A. Roth. The company's headquarters were in Nuremberg. At the end of August 2015, ARO filed for bankruptcy for the second time. The shops were closed.
