Mastervision

Mastervision was established in 1987 as a subsidiary of the software publisher Mastertronic. The brainchild of company employee Geoff Heath, is was a sister venture to their music subsidiary Mastersound. It was intended to be a budget priced label focusing mainly on re-releases of movies and TV related videos. Branded a failure by its parent company, Mastervision was closed down just a few months after launching, with only 60 releases to its name.
