US recording, mastering & mixing studio located in NYC. For the Pompano Beach (Florida) studio, please use The Power Station, Pompano Beach, Florida. Founded in 1977 by Tony Bongiovi within a building that was originally used as a power plant. The studio was renamed Avatar Studios in 1996. Avatar Studios were acquired by Berklee College Of Music in 2017. After a $15m renovation, the Power Station will begin a staged reopening for professional sessions and industry events, beginning in January 2021 under the new name Power Station At BerkleeNYC.
