A collection of instrumentals improvised through livestreaming by Brothertiger The Fundamentals series was started amidst the isolation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, beginning in 2020. Brothertiger (John Jagos) began streaming improvisational music-making from his studio in Brooklyn, New York. The idea of curating compilation albums filled with the "best of" from the streams was frequently brought up by viewers. Thus, the Fundamentals series was born.
