Full Gospel Publishing House
Настоящее имя: Full Gospel Publishing House
The Full Gospel Publishing House originated in 1931 and was the name of the Merchandise Department of the PAOC (Pentecostal Assemblies Of Canada), although the PAOC participated in publishing and the distribution of literature before that time. In the early years the publishing house distributed literature and other material to agents who in turn sold it to others. Later it sold items such as church registers, signs, calendars, manuals, hymnals, music, and phonograph records which were produced elsewhere. As early as 1938 a bookstore was operated out of the PAOC headquarters on Danforth Avenue in Toronto. The retail side of the business closed in 1963. In 1938 and 1939, resolutions were made at the General Conference requesting that the General Executive study the feasibility of the PAOC acquiring their own printing plant. As early as 1962 the PAOC operated Testimony Press, a printing operation. It's primary function was to print "The Pentecostal Testimony", the PAOC's primary publication and other religious literature, distributed through the Full Gospel Publishing House. It operated at arms length from the Full Gospel Publishing House although in 1968 both were under the Department of Publications. Testimony Press was in operation until 1980. By 1998, after operating for two years with a deficit, Full Gospel Publishing House was closed and its sales operations outsourced.
