Centro De La Guitarra
Настоящее имя: Centro De La Guitarra
The Guitar Center in Palma de Mallorca, Spain - Centro de la Guitarra Española de Palma de Mallorca - situated on Montenegro Street, brought together a musical instrument shop, a music school, and a performance venue that was the most popular place on the island for live acoustic music in the 1970’s. The Guitar Center first opened its doors on December 10, 1966, with a special performance by singer-songwriter Dylan Todd. The first director was Peter Burr. It closed its doors in 1980. Centro de la Guitarra marked the lives of many well-known musicians such as Joan Bibiloni, Pepe Millán, Bel Cerdà, Carles Ponsetí, Marusa Cano and Raphel Pherrer - and the local Euterpe (2) came together as a group there.
The capacity of the venue, decorated with period objects, dim lights, warm colors and instruments everywhere, was small, only 75 people.
