Hyperpycnal

Hyperpycnal Productions was created in 2009 in order to release Rocky Mountain Low: The Colorado Musical Underground of the Late 1970s. Hyperpycnal is a geological term referring to a plume of suspended sediment at a river mouth that is more dense than the body of water that it is entering, resulting in a bottom-hugging current which is capable of carrying sand and silt miles out onto the ocean floor.
