American women's liberal arts college, established in 1885 and located in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Bryn Mawr College is one of the historical "Seven Sisters" institutions — a group of elite Northeastern schools that provided the highest-level of education on par with (then) men-only Ivy League schools. It's also part of the "Tri-College Consortium" with Haverford College and Swarthmore College.
