O Melhor De is a Brazilian compilation series originally released by PolyGram / Mercury on compact disc in 1997. Later on, releases of this series have Universal Music / Mercury as labels, after PolyGram was sold by Philips to Seagram, which combined it with the Universal Music Group. Apart from the brand O Melhor De under the labels aforementioned, this compilation series can be identified also by the following patterns: On front cover and spine ➯ "O Melhor De (Artist): (Artist's Hit Song)" Left side of inner print ➯ "Incluindo os Sucessos: ('Hit Song X', 'Hit Song Y' e 'Hit Song Z')"
