Foolkiller

All-ages music venue which operated as the Foolkiller Folk Theater from 1984-1985 in the 39th & Main Street neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri. The group who ran the event space (which hosted folk opries and spoken-word poets) began in the 1970s in a 31st Street storefront, and continued after as CrossCurrents of Culture, the city's folk arts alliance. The space is best known for hosting Husker Du, Black Flag, and Die Kruezen.
