A New York recording studio. It was founded in 1978 when Janet Rosenblatt, then 25 years old, acquired Bell Sound Studios from bankruptcy, changed its name to the Sound Palace, and began renovations. It consisted of four specialized studios, with Studios C, a.k.a., "The Keyboard Clinic", and D located on the building's second floor and Studios A and B on the fifth floor and featured custom monitors designed by the acoustic engineer Ted Rothstein.
