Capitol Sings

In the 1990s, Capitol released a series of Compilation albums from their pre-rock & roll vaults. Using the common title "Capitol Sings", these releases showcase the works of noteworthy American songwriters from the 1940s, '50s and '60s. The Series is mostly Composer-driven, but also includes Award-winning songs and various themes from the same time period. This includes music written by Johnny Mercer, [a301368], Jerome Kern, [a301975], and more, and sung by the top vocalists from the Capitol stable such as [a145288], Judy Garland, [a79742], Dean Martin, [a299954], and many others.
