MuchDance

Following it's split from their partnership from Quality Music (2) in 1997, with whom they had partnered on various editions of the Dance Mix series, MuchMusic launched a new series with a closely re-branded title: MuchDance. Unlike the previous incarnation of the series, MuchDance focused on top-40 Pop, Pop-Rock, Hip-Hop, R&B and the occasional Dance track, though as Quality continued to be the license holder for many international dance singles in Canada, MuchMusic was limited to releases not handled or marketed by their previous partner.
