Ekishnugal Records was an independent, non profit making label based in Melbourne, Australia. The philosophy of Ekishnugal Records was to offer opportunities to skilled Bands / Artists, to create clear distinction to differentiate from the perversion of nowadays Neo-classical and Ambient / Industrial music scene. Ekishnugal was the name of the temple of the moon in Babylonian mythology, where ceremonies and prayers were performed regularly to keep the moon bright.
