Burn To Shine

A series of DVD compilations always shot in an abandoned building or house to be demolished soon afterwards. A local musician choose his favorite bands to perform there live just for the camera. The editing was done chronologically. Six such volumes were shot but only four appeared on DVD due to budget cutbacks from distributers and technical problems during production. Vol. 4 Louisville, KY was edited and finally shown a couple of times in cinemas. However it was never released commercially on DVD. It featured Dead Child, Ultra Pulverize, Will Oldham, Magik Markers, Lords, Verktum, Commonwealth, Shipping News, Liberation Prophecy, Parlour, and Lucky Pineapple. Vol.6 Atlanta, GA was filmed on July 29, 2007. Bands included Shannon Wright, The Liverhearts, The Selmanaires, Deerhunter, Black Lips, Delia Gartrell, The Mighty Hannibal, The Carbonas, The All Night Drug Prowling Wolves, The Coathangers, Snowden, and Mastodon. No info however, if this was ever completed and shown.
