Norsk Folkemusikk
Настоящее имя: Norsk Folkemusikk
The series draws on recordings made by the Norwegian Broadcasting Company (NRK). Since 1935 they have recorded folk musicians for broadcasting purposes, and starting in 1953 the radio producer Rolf Myklebust initiated a series of 78 rpm records, released in cooperation with the company A/S Nera. In all, 22 shellac discs were released. Starting in 1958, they started issuing 45 rpm EP records instead. A total of 55 EP's were issued. In 1969 the first 12" LP's came out (a few 10" LP's had preceded them). A total of 22 LP's were issued, 14 of them with material from the old EP's. After a long period of unavailability, the first CD's with re-issues came out in 2005 on the Ta:Lik label.
