Digital Remaster Series

2001 reissue series of the first 16 studio albums of Danish rock band Savage Rose on digitally remastered CD with the original album artwork. The albums were remastered by Jan Eliasson at Tocano Mastering, Nyhavn and contains liner notes by Thomas Koppel of Savage Rose that over the 16 albums tells the full story of Savage Rose. In 1999 Universal Music A/S hired Jens Andersen to work as a free-lance consultant on the huge Danish catalog they own. He made it a priority to make a proper re-release of the first 8 Savage Rose albums, first released on CD in the early 90's in a very bad quality. At the same time, by pure coincidence, Thomas Koppel wrote a letter to Universal pleading them to withdraw those CD's and do a proper re-release. Andersen, in close collaboration with Koppel and Annisette, then decided to extend the project to the 16 albums released prior to their major international 1995 comeback album .
